Hunter has served as an associate attorney at Howard Family Law, LLC, since 2023. Prior to joining Howard Family Law, LLC, Hunter practiced family law as an associate attorney at a private practice family law firm in the Twin Cities metro area.
Hunter attended Indiana University Maurer School of Law. During her time at the Maurer School of Law, Hunter became a registered domestic relations mediator, serving as a third-party neutral for low income families in the family court system. She has previously clerked for a Sherburne County Judge and worked with Legal Aid to develop a program connecting family-based community organizations with access to legal services.
Hunter has dedicated her practice exclusively to family law since 2021. She is a tremendous listener and a strong advocate for her clients’ success. Her relaxed demeanor provides for easy communication, and her strategic approach to case-planning means that her clients always know what to expect next.
Hunter grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but has since settled down in Minnesota. When she isn’t helping her clients, Hunter enjoys spending quality time with her partner, son, and their small family zoo of pets. She also enjoys traveling and is always looking for recommendations on her next vacation destination.
