Lyndsay J. Howard will confidentially work with parties (either with or without attorneys) to find alternative and less costly options to resolve your case and issues. Mediation can be engaged in before the parties proceed with starting a Court action or retaining counsel, during the pendency of a Court action, or after Court proceedings are done (post-decree matters). Lyndsay J. Howard will assist with helping the parties negotiate a settlement that supports the needs of the parties and their children, as well as division of assets.
A mediator, however experienced, cannot represent either party in their capacity as a mediator. Lyndsay J. Howard can answer questions and provide the parties with legal information, can provide evaluative feedback and suggestions if asked, but to preserve the integrity of the process, she must remain neutral.
